Rob Goodley and Mike Bonner-Davies from the Private Client team have had an article published in Tax Adviser magazine entitled “The pensions puzzle”.
The article considers pension issues for individuals retiring abroad and discusses the complex area of how and when individuals with UK registered pension savings can take their retirement benefits, especially where the pension beneficiary is resident overseas.
Individuals moving or retiring abroad after having worked and accumulated pensions in the UK should consider their approach to their pensions.
