On 7 July 2020 the Austrian Ministry of Finance issued draft guidance on the application of the EU MDR (aka DAC6) rules for stakeholder consultation. That guidance states that Austria will not make use of the option granted by the recent EU Directive to extend the EU MDR reporting deadlines by six months. However, due to technical delays, there will be a 'de-facto deferral' for EU MDR reporting until the end of October 2020.
