As part of the next stage of the Government’s Good Work Plan, a consultation has been announced proposing the establishment of a new single enforcement body (SEB) for employment/worker rights. 

Background

The Good Work Plan was announced in December 2018, in response to the Taylor Report - with the Government stating that whilst it recognises that a new age of flexible working has benefits for workers and the economy, this should not be to be a detriment to workers rights.
