In its long awaited response to the Taylor report, the government announced on 18 December 2018 one of the most significant, varied and numerous workplace reforms seen in the UK in over 20 years. In amongst the 51 recommendations published, the government has made explicit references to changes in National Minimum Wage, Employment Status and Holiday Pay.  This Insight considers the changes proposed to Holiday Pay. Our separate article (see Related Items) considers the National Minimum Wage Consultation that has also been announced on the same date.  We have also already published an Insight which considers the proposals relating to employment status tests (see Related Items).
