The Global tax landscape is shifting as tax authorities demand an ever increasing volume of data from taxpayers. The Standard Audit File for Tax ("SAF-T") is one example of this. SAF-T aims to be the Global standard for electronic exchange of accounting data and is increasingly being adopted to facilitate the flow of information to the tax authorities.
