The Finance Bill 2021 was passed by the Lok Sabha on 23 March 2021 with amendments to the original Bill that was tabled before the Lok Sabha on 1 February 2021 (Original Bill). Subsequently, the Bill was affirmed by the Rajya Sabha on 24 March 2021, without any further amendments.
