We are delighted to invite you to the next in our series of global indirect tax webcasts where we will look at the very latest UK regulations on Making Tax Digital for Business (MTDfB) and our experience of what business is doing to plan, prepare and deal with these changes.

The stated objective of MTDfB is to make tax reporting more accurate, more reliable, and more efficient: the UK government wants to deliver ‘a modern, digital tax system for all businesses’. In the short term, it means that business will be required to make, preserve, and then submit existing tax records electronically.

In this webcast we will seek to demystify the immediate VAT related obligations coming into force from April 2019 and April 2020, and explain how business is planning to meet these needs.

We will then focus on what we're seeing from those tackling the wider and more strategic question of the future: how the initiative will develop; what the more medium/long term requirements will be; and, how this may impact the decisions you make.
