The Central Provident Fund (CPF) Board has announced that CPF is not required on the reimbursement of expenses incurred by employees for working in different locations (i.e., not the normal place of work) due to COVID-19 and such expenses are used to defray meal, transport, lodging, or utility expenses subject to meeting certain conditions. Allowances will still be subject to CPF.
