We're expecting the Commission's final decision later this year and, so that you can better understand what this means for your group, we've put together an illustrative timetable in the attached flyer, as well as information on the implications of a "negative" decision from the Commission and the things to be thinking about.
We'll also be hosting a breakfast meeting at our Embankment Place office on 18 June (8.00am for an 8.30am start) where we'll be discussing the investigation, its implications and our practical recommendations over a light breakfast.
The discussion during the meeting with be led by Jonathan Hare, Co-Chair of PwC's State Aid Working Group, and Mark Whitehouse, Solicitor and Tax Disputes Specialist. They'll be joined by Conor Quigley QC who will provide his insight into the investigation based on his wealth of practical experience of State aid matters. The panel will address any questions attendees have on the investigation and ongoing process.
Places are limited, so if you would be interested in attending please email Juliet Trent as soon as possible.
