Spring Statement
The Government will publish its Spring Statement on Wednesday 13 March 2019. The Spring Statement provides the Chancellor, Philip Hammond, an opportunity to update MPs on the Government’s plans for the economy based on the latest forecasts from the independent Office for Budget Responsibility (OBR). It is not intended to contain any major policy announcements.
